Dragon Fly (Grow a Garden)

General

The Dragonfly is a divine pet added in the Animal Update. It can be obtained by hatching the Bug Egg with a 1% chance.

Appearance

The Dragonfly is a completely golden version of a real dragonfly, but its eyes, leg tips, wing tips, and tail are neon. The Dragonfly flaps its wings every client frame. It uses the same texture as the Gold mutation.

Trait

Every ~5 minutes, turns one random fruit Gold.

• The Dragonfly is based off the real-life dragonfly, Anisoptera, although it more closely resembles the carboniferous creature Meganeura.
• It is the first Divine pet to be released into the game.
• When being held by the player, the Dragonfly is not in their hand, and rather few studs away from the player’s hand. This is most likely due to the Dragonfly’s true hitbox being placed at ground level and it’s model being offset upwards for the hovering effect, this is now fixed.
• The Dragonfly is one of the only five pets that can apply growth-variant mutations to plants. The second one being the Butterfly, the third one being the Golden Bee (scrapped), the fourth one being Cockatrice, and the fifth one being Silver Dragonfly.
• As of now, the Dragonfly has the 3rd highest hunger count with 100,000 hunger points, tying with Tiger and Lich.
• The Dragonfly can’t turn a fruit golden if it’s silver or rainbow.
